iDimension leveraged ColdFusion and mobile jQuery to create a mobile web site that serves the registration data provided by corporate to each individual registrant. Each user authenticates using their mobile number and a PIN they entered when registering. A user’s PIN can be retrieved via SMS delivered to the registration mobile number via the Twilio SMS API. Key event start notices were also delivered to each registrant via SMS throughout the EXPO.
The mobile site offers schedule by day of week, as well as floor maps of the convention center, and a feedback form. Google Analytics tracking was deployed via Google Tag Manager, with custom variables being set for store number and user ID for each authenticated user that accessed the site.
